The Center for Innovation and Sustainability in Local Media’s Director Erica Beshears Perel recently spoke with the American Press Institute’s Better News site about effective partnerships for local media and resilience.

Perel evaluated a failure from her time with UNC Table Stakes graduate The Daily Tar Heel where an exciting local partnership yielded little impact. Perel said that, as a result of the failure, the organization has revised how it approaches partnerships with local companies.
